Alaska Mission Team

Greetings from the Alaska Mission Team. Quyana! Quyana! Quyana! (Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!)

We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers while we were on the mission trip. We are so abundantly blessed to be able to do this task for God. What an absolute JOY it is to be able to share God’s love and everlasting word with these beautiful and spiritually hungry people! Our theme this year was Love, Honor, and Respect. This is how we can have true JOY, is to do these for Jesus, Others, and Yourself.

We had over 100 VBS students. We had between 30 and 40 attending the adult class each day. We had at least 30 women attend the Women’s evening/quilting. 30 received quilts and others came for the singing and prayers and fellowship. The youth held open gym and devotion with around 70 each day. We also had a potluck. This is truly a loaves and fishes experience. Every year we have enough food, but very little left in the pot. Needless to say, God reached a lot of lives by using us this year.

I cannot express how wonderful the young members on our team are. The children of Tuluksak swarm around our youth and these 4 young adults open their arms and hearts to each and every one of these God’s children…they are pretty adorable.

Thank you St. Paul, for supporting this mission, which tries to spread God’s joy, peace and love to this isolated little village in Alaska. Please continue to pray for the team as we will soon start planning for next year.
